Ok, so I have been tagged with this award. I have to tell 10 honest things about myself and then tag 7 other bloggers. But you all have been tagged already so I will skip that part. Wow, this is not going to be easy for me as I am a very private person.

1. I had my oldest when I had just turned 18. His biological sperm donor didn't want him. My mom wanted me to abort and threw me out because I wouldn't. So, it was just him and I growing up together.

2. I am actually grateful for the events of #2 because I was headed down a very dangerous road before conceiving him.

3.I have always just wanted to be a wife and mother. I enjoy cooking, cleaning and being with the kids all day. I should have been born a long time ago!

4.I was married to a great guy. Just not the right man for me. I tried to make it work. I begged him to go to the marriage encounter weekend things at our parish. I read every book I could about marriage, relationships, etc. Nothing worked. He failed to see any problems in our marriage.

5. I am the one that left the marriage. I hurt him greatly. More so then I knew at the time and just recently found out. I still feel the guilt and remorse to this day, 10 years later.

6.I then was smart enough to get involved with someone who I thought was my soulmate. I endured 7 years of emotional, verbal, physical and sexual abuse with said soulmate. I believe it was kharma getting me back for #5.

7.My children are my world and even though being a single parent is challenging, I love it. That said, there are days when I honestly feeling like running away!

8.I can come to your home and clean it perfectly. I can also organize everything in it. I used to be a house manager for a very prominent family in Society Hill in Philadelphia. However, my house is a mess and so unorganized. Oh well!

9.The majority of my friends are male. I have a hard time relating to other women, at least IRL.

10. I think I am ready to start dating. I'm not sure. The idea scares the crap out of me and with good reason. I am not sure if I am ready to trust someone with my heart again.

Ok, there are my 10 honest things about me. I know I am going to regret this later on...LOL

  1. Thanks for posting- I was tagged too by Maggii but haven't done it yet.
I am very organizationally challenged so I would say I don't have your gift in that area. Have a great evening. I should be cooking dinner but as you can see I am still on the computer.

  2. I read this when you first posted it, I guess I either forgot to comment or it got lost or something. I'd love to collaborate on the organizing thing, I'm pretty good at it, but would love, love LOVE to have a professional to learn form. So, when are you going to make it up to Hazleton huh?

  4. Yay to you for posting this! I would love for you to come fix my cluttered home...but I'd only be able to pay you by giving you a cat, and somehow I don't think that would work. :)
